Welcome to The Planty Oasis!

My name is Sarah. I’m an avid collector of plants that decided I wanted to open a nursery to help expand options available to everyone. I began my journey of collecting plants as a hobby in 2020 as a means to improve my mental health. Since then, it has quickly developed into a passion. After years of working for various companies and never being fulfilled in the positions I held, I decided to chase a dream and make the idea of my own plant shop a reality. I am still working full-time elsewhere, I’m also a wife, a dog and cat mom too. Though I do work another job, this is the space that brings me joy.  That being said, I apologize now if I don’t respond as quickly as I’d like to. I appreciate the patience shown by all of you. My hope is that by the end of 2025, I’ll be able to walk away from my corporate job and take this on full time, but that means I need continued support and love from all of you!!

I’ve learned many tips and tricks over the past few years, and my goal is simply to give others access to plants that may not be available locally, to help support you on your journey of becoming a plant parent, and to spread joy along the way. My methods aren’t always by the book. I’ve learned a lot through trial and error, research and word of mouth. I am not perfect, I’ll never tell you that I am. I just want to help others while they’re navigating plant parenthood! 

All of my plants are sourced carefully from within the US and are checked regularly for pests and diseases. I treat every plant in my shop the same way I treat my own collection; I want them all to be happy and flourish.
